The mission of the Texhoma Public Schools is to foster personal characteristics in our students that include not only the accumulation of knowledge and development of skills, but also the development of attitudes, ideals and understandings that are commensurate with a moral and democratic society. To accomplish this, the school will offer a curriculum with co-curricular activities that meets the needs of the students and provides for a “Student Centered” instructional atmosphere that will give each student the opportunity to achieve his or her potential to master the “Oklahoma Academic Standards”.
Several activities this week:1. Don't forget to remind your children of the precautions they need to take with tomorrow's solar eclipse. 2. Come join FFA and 4H for their annual ice cream social Monday at 6:30 at the THS cafeteria. 3. Tuesday is Fall Picture Day. 4. Wednesday is Fall Athletics Picture Day. 5. Texhoma 5th -12th grade teachers and staff invite you to Meet the Teacher/Open House this Wednesday from 6-8PM. 6. Softball @Hooker Tues 8/22 @ 3pm. 7. 8/24 CC @ Hooker and JH SB @ Beaver tournament. 8. FB scrimmage here @ 5 Friday night. We hope to see everyone come out in support of our school, our teachers & coaches, and our amazing students! Texhoma Red....

In the event of bad weather and schools are closed, all students and staff will recieve a recorded message to the phone number on record at your child's school. Please make sure your contact information is up to date. Families who need to update their information should contact their child's school. There will also be a message sent out on the phone/computer app SchoolConnect. You may check local radio and TV stations for information.
Many factors are taken into consideration when deciding to close school, but the safety of our students and staff will always be our number one concern.
